The Glasgow Youth Council is delighted to invite Glasgow’s young people to our fabulous event. Scotland’s biggest year is here, the Year of Young People and the Glasgow Youth Council will be celebrating in style!
This event aims to inspire young people to be leaders in their communities, gain new skills and experiences and learn a range of new things. Throughout the event, workshops will be held based on the key themes of the Year of Young People – Equality and Discrimination, Participation and Education. Each workshop will be interactive, motivating and a chance for you to have your voice heard as well as hear a range of views.
We will have guest speakers at the event who have a wealth of experience working with young people. This will also give you an opportunity to take part in a Q and A session.
Lunch will be provided. The menu consists of halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options. There will be live entertainment, a variety of youth organisations to choose from to join and a photo booth! Click here for more information on the programme and how to get involved.
