The Clacks/Stirling PACCT service provides an early intervention and prevention service for families who are ‘just coping’ or not accessing local services despite unmet needs. The service provides a range of support, targeting families in greatest need but who would not otherwise receive a family support service.

Family Mediation Central Scotland (Relationships Scotland)

Relationships Scotland supports individuals, couples and families experiencing relationship difficulties. Their office in Stirling offers a range of services, including family mediation and supervised contact, to families throughout central Scotland.

Forth Valley Family Support Service (Scottish Families)

Scottish Families are operating a Family Support Service across the Forth Valley and will provide information and advice, one to one support, peer support through the facilitation of family support groups and advocacy to individuals, family members and friends affected by someone else’s substance misuse. Although they are only able to support adult family members (18 years and over) they will be able to direct you to other age appropriate services if applicable.

Home-Start Clackmannanshire

Home-Start centres provide a range of support to families with at least one child under five years old. Each centre has trained volunteers who support families who may be struggling with isolation, physical health, bereavement or a range of other issues.

Kooth

Kooth.com is a free online counselling, advice and support service for young people aged between 10 and 18 years available in Clackmannanshire and some other areas in Scotland.

It provides a safe, secure means of accessing support with a specialist team of qualified counsellors and offers self-help tools and community spaces. The aim of Kooth is to support better emotional and mental health and wellbeing of young people and support is tailored to the individual young persons needs and situation.

The qualified counsellors are online 365 days a year.

Monday to Friday, from 12noon – 10pm and between 6pm – 10pm on weekends.

Kooth has no waiting list or referral process. Children and young people can access support for any issue they may be experiencing.

Nordoff Robbins Scotland

Nordoff Robbins use music therapy to help people with a range of conditions including learning disabilities, neurological disorders, life-limiting illness, brain injury, cerebral palsy, mental health issues, trauma, stroke and dementia.

Scottish Autism Children's Service

Scottish Autism supports children and young people aged 5-19 in Clackmannanshire through individualised outreach support, a respite and short breaks service and an education service. Services take time to build up a deep understanding of each young person, taking into account their processing and thinking style in order to maximise their learning potential. Their dedicated team of practitioners are equipped with the knowledge and skills to enable each child and young person to have positive life experiences.

The Spark Counselling Falkirk

The Spark is a leading provider of couples counselling, marriage counselling, individual counselling and family counselling in Scotland. They have centres in Trinity Church, Falkirk, and at the Forth Valley Sensory Centre, Camelon, which serve Falkirk and Stirlingshire. They offer a range of face-to-face, online and telephone appointments for couples counselling, marriage counselling, relationship counselling and individual counselling.
