Aberlour Youthpoint & Mentoring Services - Moray

Aberlour Youthpoint is a needs-led, person-centred service to vulnerable and challenging children and young people in Moray. They work with young people in the Moray area aged 12 and over and their families. Aberlour Mentoring Services provides one-to-one and group support to young people who are experiencing difficulties in their lives that are impacting negatively on their well-being.

Care & Learning Alliance (CALA)

CALA offers a one-door approach to a broad range of childcare and family support services, providing universal services in the Highland and Moray areas. Their Family Support team delivers a programme of visits to local parent baby and toddler groups, as well as a flexible home visiting service to meet group, family and individual needs. And their Direct Services team supports groups and childminders across Highland & Moray, providing a range of childcare, out of school and daycare services.

Kinship Care Team (Moray Council)

Moray Council’s kinship care team provide social work support to looked-after children in kinship care; they can also signpost families to Children 1st and other local agencies, depending on their need.

Grampian Child Bereavement Network

Grampian Child Bereavement Network is a dedicated resource and central point of reference for children who have been bereaved. It aims to provide information and support to families where a child or young person is bereaved, and to help children and young people access appropriate support for bereavement within Grampian.


Moray Kinship Care Hub (Children 1st)

The kinship care hub offers a range of services, which are provided by staff and trained volunteers and help to empower families and increase their resilience and ability to care for and support their children. Interventions include befriending, advocacy, mediation, practical support, individual and group work, parenting support, financial inclusion advice, family group conferencing, and direct intensive therapeutic support working with loss, harm and trauma.

Moray Wellbeing Hub

The Moray Wellbeing Hub project provides community and virtual spaces that welcome everyone to live more mentally healthy lives. They work to empower individuals to use their life experiences to better understand and self-manage their wellbeing but also provide support for others. Current projects include running self-management workshops, seeding peer-support groups and working alongside service providers in health and social care to better promote the concept of recovery.


Scottish Autism Children's Service

Scottish Autism supports children and young people aged 5-19 in Fife through individualised outreach support, a respite and short breaks service and an education service. Services take time to build up a deep understanding of each young person, taking into account their processing and thinking style in order to maximise their learning potential. Their dedicated team of practitioners are equipped with the knowledge and skills to enable each child and young person to have positive life experiences.
